The H-J insulators are composed of cast epoxy construction with integrally cast metallic mounting inserts. The epoxy material is self-extinguishing when exposed to continuous arcing or a constant heat source. Mounting configurations are NEMA standard and are available in an insert configuration. The deep shed designs allow for larger creep distances and our conical design provides superior mechanical loading characteristics.
